CONCERTO Kentucky Bluegrass
Concerto is a shamrock-type Kentucky bluegrass. Developed by Rutgers University, Concerto is an advanced hybrid of the original Shamrock and an exceptional newcomer, NB70. It is an aggressive variety exhibiting early spring vigor and green-up, excellent sod forming tendencies, and a rich, medium green color. Improved disease resistance, especially to leaf spot, allows Concerto to perform well over the course of the entire growing season, helping to maintain healthy, attractive turf. Concerto is a strong component to any bluegrass or combination mixture and a must-have variety in your Kentucky bluegrass arsenal. Concerto is ideal for many different uses, including high traffic areas, home lawns, and athletic fields.
