Tirem Kentucky Bluegrass
Tirem was selected for its deep roots and exceptional performance in drought conditions. This variety is a must-have in your product portfolio. Tirem mixes well and compliments perennial ryegrass and tall fescue. It is also ideal for low maintenance situations, as it maintains great turf performance, even with reduced fertilizer and watering. Tirem germinates and establishes rapidly, which makes it ideal for use in sod, especially when blended with tall fescue. Tirem performs excellent throughout the typical cool season zones and well into the transition zone. It can be utilized as a component to add to perennial ryegrass to enhance the seasonal turf performance in the overseeding of Bermudagrass in southern athletic fields.
